Has anyone heard any rumors regarding pricing for this years SuperFan yet? The NFL Sunday Ticket SuperFan website still says "check back closer to the season."
Yeah, I wish. But they've got to recover that ridiculous amount of money they spent for exclusive rights. I got SF free last year through the promotion, although they tried to screw me out of it. If the base price goes up and it's another $100 for SF, I may just skip it this year. I will miss my favorite team, but such is life.ncriley said:Hopefully, they do the right thing and give the HD games for free to the people that have Sunday Ticket and already pay for HD service. Superfan should be the redzone channel, fantasy updates, etc and cost about $10.

Yep. What you said.Hdhead said:I refuse to pay extra for the privilege of watching HD which I am already paying for. Either I get it in HD for free or I an canceling. Hopefully they are rethinking this whole thing or they stand to lose thousands of subs.
That's ok, we can be reasonable.Satelliteracer said:It won't be free.

Thanks to The Magic Eight Ball over at AVS Forum.
No it won't.TimGoodwin said:After this great news it will be very hard to pass up on.....Super Fan
Yes that is correct. However, the games that are televised in the subscriber's market are blacked out from their web feeds. This is only an issue if you are in different markets, of course.oscar madison said:If my brother has Super Fan can I login with his account and watch games online at my house?
I could be wrong b/c I never had Super Fan, but I heard you got the games online included.
Thank you
+1 I've been a ST subscriber for as long as you and you can count me in with the quitters if they continue to insist on charging extra for HD.cbearnm said:After 10 years, I think I have reached my limit on the increases.
I got D* because I lived in Columbus OH and had to get my Steelers. It has gone from ~$99 to now over $250 + another $99 for HD. I now live in NM and between the Cowboys and Broncos, I still don't get many Steelers games.
After looking at the schedule and seeing that the Steelers will have 5 national (primetime) games, plus them being on a couple more that will probably be available, I think it is time to cut the cord. It's great news that CBS will finally have all the games in HD but I think it will be cheaper to run down to the Sports Bar at the Casino than ST. If I spend $32 per game (which would be very high), I would break even. It would probably be closer to $10-15 per game. And that's if none of the other games are broadcast here, which would be uncommon.
I hate to do it, but I believe that I have crossed the rubicon.
