In the past, I have seen the guide and channels not populate until Sunday morning of the games. We have a few weeks....SteveHas said:how come the SF HD channels aren't showing up yet?
SF shows on bill. Will these channels lite from D11?
Last year the HD channels were a range of their own, not -1 channels. The NHL, NBA, MLS and MLB were/are -1 channels. I can't remember the range but you had the SD channels range then the HD channels.SteveHas said:last year they were the same number with a "-1" after it, and they showed up in the guide at the same time as teh SD channels.

They are going to be on the same numbers for SD and HD this year. And shared with the college games as well.
I'm seeing the same thing and have SF, so I wouldn't worry about it. If you log into the directv site and click on my setup, it will show you everything you are subscribed to. ST and SF should show up there.SteveHas said:my memory is going
thanks
so I won't see seperate HD channels in the guide?
I just want to make sure that the last CSR I spoke to didn't turn off my SF package when I asked to have it comped
Yes. That was according to satelliteracer quite some time back.SteveHas said:my memory is going

Scratch that.....dash -1's will be used for HD games in NFL STSteveHas said:how come the SF HD channels aren't showing up yet?

So when should we expect to see the dash -1's in the guide?Satelliteracer said:Scratch that.....dash -1's will be used for HD games in NFL ST
Oh, ugh. I really liked the original solution that the SD and HD numbers would be shared.Satelliteracer said:Scratch that.....dash -1's will be used for HD games in NFL ST
The challenge is that some customers with Sunday Ticket and HD who don't purchase SuperFan may have opted in their Guide to turn off duplicate SD channels (available in some HD boxes).tonyd79 said:Oh, ugh. I really liked the original solution that the SD and HD numbers would be shared.
like giving ppv hd channels to sunday ticket hd for that afternoon.Satelliteracer said:As a result, dash -1's are going to be used unless something else presents itself as an alternative.
It's not a capacity challenge, it's a channel numbering challenge along with a setting that can screen out SD duplicates and keep non HD customers in the dark potentially.dcowboy7 said:like giving ppv hd channels to sunday ticket hd for that afternoon.
Easy fix...don't charge for HD gamesSatelliteracer said:The challenge is that some customers with Sunday Ticket and HD who don't purchase SuperFan may have opted in their Guide to turn off duplicate SD channels (available in some HD boxes).
Well, that presents a challenge because in their guide they wouldn't see the SD Sunday Ticket channels at all as the guide would remove them with that setting employed. As a result, dash -1's are going to be used unless something else presents itself as an alternative.
Also, it good to have both the SD and HD channels in the guide, so you can fall-back to SD in case of rain fade.Satelliteracer said:Well, that presents a challenge because in their guide they wouldn't see the SD Sunday Ticket channels at all as the guide would remove them with that setting employed.
