Sure are a lot of posts that are irrelevant to how well whatever streamer gets NFLST next year will perform. Also a lot of posts irrelevant to this year's issues with NFLST via DIRECTV.

Sure, their primary delivery is satellite ... but the DIRECTV subscription includes streaming. Streaming needs to work.

Only 16 more weeks left.

Yes I do. The NFL & whoever has the next contract needs to tear apart & rip to shreds all blackouts because fans everywhere in baseball and football & just about every other sport have been screaming for them to be abolished for a long time. They are unpopular and outdated. It’s beyond time that Blackouts are done away with.
The NFL responds to billions of dollars. The broadcasters have paid for their exclusives. The fans are not writing multi-billion dollar checks to the NFL. If you would like to buy out the multiple billion dollar contracts agreed to for the next 10 years feel free to try. Although if you could afford to buy out the contracts you probably wouldn't be complaining about blackouts.

The 11 Million people who watched the super bowl and the 13 million who watched Thursday nights game would disagree.
11 million streamers in both cases. The other 100 million Super Bowl viewers and two million TNF viewers watched on their local affiliates. (And in both cases it was one stream.)

Satellite is not that robust either as noted prior Directv would need to lower the variable bit rates on certain channels to support the Sunday Ticket feeds
And all of their feeds were in SD when they launched NFL ST! The horror! How could anyone ever pay for such a service!

DIRECTV satellite has added plenty of bandwidth since the days where they had to shut channels down or squeeze bandwidth to make room for the games. The robustness of satellite comes from being able to use the same bandwidth to reach an unlimited number of viewers without further degradation.

Yours worked last week. Hopefully the people who had problems last week will have a better week this week. 15 weeks to go!
