For you hockey fans who get HD through dish, how many games per week do you get on average in HD with CI and versus channel.

I've been checking out the HD channel lineup in the Gold package and all I really care for is the Discovery and Nat Geographic channel. For that its not worth HD and the high prices but if I can get lot of hockey its worth it.

Do you recommend dishhd for hockey viewing. Are there enough games in HD?

So far they had a game every day last week, except for opening day.

But without CI you'd Get 2 games a week from HDNet and Versus if they ever show the feeds and your rsn if they ever show those as well

Verses shows their HD games on INHD, DishNetwork does NOT offer INHD.
Tonight they have ONE HD game, Vancouver Canucks vs. Minnesota Wild (Regional) 9:00 PM EST FSN N (720p)
It is on Channel 9467 if you have the Center Ice Package.
http://www.hdsportsguide.com/ is a GREAT resource for all HD games, but not what Dish Network carrys.

versus is carried on inhd for cable company convienence

dish could carry the feed no problem

they did it when they finally got an agreement for the stanley cup last year

and directv is carrying the feed now

Fox Sports Detroit is showing up on channel 9467 right now for us Center Ice geeks.
Detroit vs Pheonix in HD.
Does this mean we are CLOSER to gettting the RSN's in HD?
Last year (During the play-offs), E* showed the OLN/Verses feed on channel 9467, but last night the OLN/Verses HD game was NOT available.
Dish??? HELP! I am confused........

Doesnt sound that great. Looks like I wont make the jump to HD for hockey.
