NHL network is available at Choice Extra or above, or with purchase of CI as stated on this page;

Only really matters if your base package is Family or Choice, all other packages on D* include NHL network.

To get the NHL Network on Dish Network, you need America's Top 200 OR the Sports Pack OR Center Ice. So it's true if you subscribe through Dish.

NHL Network on Comcast with Sports Tier subscribtion only. You can't even get it with just the Center Ice Package. That's dumb, anyone with CI should get the NHL Network @ no extra charge.

Cool. I'll be ditching Comcast for Dish Turbo soon and didn't feel like paying $10 extra for Platinum just to get NHL network. To be honest, I don't feel like jumping from bronze to gold just to get VS either. I may just watch VS games online.
