No HBO On Demand

That would be a question worth asking DirecTV or possibly HBO. My guess is they haven't agreed on terms for that offering.

I'd love some Entourage and Curb On Demand.

I asked about this, this weekend when I was adding the HBO/Cinemax deal to my account so I could watch True Blood next Sunday. I asked about the rest of the HBOs and Cinemaxes and also about their VOD probablity.

I was promised that the CSR that they are currently negotiating with Time Warner to get these added and while he was certain it would be added, they do not have a time frame. He did say sooner than later though. Of course, he could have just been telling me that cause I wasn't sure if $14.00 a month was worth it when I get Showtime, TMC, and Flix for only $12.00 a month.

Negotiations continue for HBO on Demand and more HBO HD.

Would of been nice for the last season of The Wire.

I wouldn't mind seeing early successful HBO series on demand: Six Feet Under, Entourage, Sex and the City ... bring it on!

My guess is that HBO may be holding these back and demanding that Directv adds more of its SD channels before adding HBO on Demand and more HBO/MAX HD channels. Adding more SD channels would make HBO/Cinemax more desirable to the millions of people that still have only SD. However, at this point I doubt Directv really wants to add HBO/Cinemax SD channels because their main focus is on HD and since it seems space on the 101 satellite is pretty tight. Just a guess though.
