I've been using my first gen Pronto with the 721 with no problems. I left the 721 remote on the original setting of "one". Do you want a copy of my CCF to try with your system?

No IR control of 721
I've got a first-generation Pronto that I was using happily to contorl my previous DISH receiver, and when I got the 721, none of the original controls worked. No big deal; I just relearned all the functions assuming they were probably just different.
However, even thought they learned correctly, nothing worked!
Am I missing something? Shouldn't this have worked?

Take a look at the IR codes that you relearned from the 721 remote. Most Dish IR codes aren't very long when they are learned correctly. Did you teach the codes to your Pronto directly, or through Prontoedit? If through prontoedit, what OS are you running? If you're running anything other than 98 or ME, you may have problems teaching the pronto your IR codes through the software.

I did teach them through ProntoEdit on XP, but whenever I noticed a long code, I tried relearning it.. I'm going to give George's CCF a try, too.
