I moved homes and had my new install this morning, and the tech swapped out a couple of my older HR20's for HR24's. It worked fine this morning when the tech ran the HDMI directly from the HR24 to my tv, but I went in later today to set up my receiver, speakers, etc., and ran the HDMI through my receiver than on to the tv.

Now I get video but no audio. I've tried rebooting a few times, I've switched HDMI cables, unplugged it. etc.

Also, other components are getting sound through the receiver.

Did I just get a lemon or is there something simple I am forgetting?

Try setting the DVR to output stereo instead of Dolby Digital. If that change restores audio through your AVR, then there is a setting in the AVR that needs to be changed to recognize/decode Dolby Digital automatically.
