Do you have the HD package, and Sunday Ticket Superfan ? Even if you have the HD pack, you need Superfan to get access to the HD broadcasts on the -1 channels.

Superfan is a free preview this weekend but you may be right about the HD package.

I do have the NFL package with superfan. Reboot did not work. The channels are working on my upstairs TV.

Call DirecTV and have then reauthorize your receivers (you can do it online as well).l I had to do that earlier this week.

I'm having the same problem with an HR20. I can watch the Pats live but my recording is blank.

HR21. This thing has been giving me trouble for a while. Constantly freezes requiring reboots. DTV customer service is a nightmare so I have been putting off calling them.

I take it back, I can't watch it live either. Trying a system reset now. After the reset it's working and just as I get it working, I finally get a DTV CSR and he admits they had a system-wide problem and had to send out reauthorizations, and that often requires the receiver to be re-booted.

Was the start of the NFL season a surprise for DTV? You'd think they could be ready for it. Wish I had seen why Brady is out and the Pats are going with their #2 QB.

I ended up doing a factory reset and that finally got things working. It stinks because I had to lose all of my recordings in the process. Oh well.

My wife commented this happened last year, at least some sort of problem on the first day of the season. Anyone else remember that?
