After contacting local fox station found out they didn't know anything about it. Less than half an hour after talking to them the station went back to the message again. It appears the station was not supposed to come through.

The stations are still out here in Binghamton. Stations affected are Fox and MyNetwork. Northwest Broadcasting only has 4 broadcast stations but, two have sub channels.

Here's the link to DirecTV info page.

And the Fox40 website.

My take on this is that since Norhtwest is such a small company, DirecTV couldn't care less about it. I get Fox40 via antenna and also have grandfathered Fox DNS.

Something caused the block on the HD station in these markets excluding Spokane to come down for a few hours yesterday. I believe in most cases it was where the HD station was up linked separately from the SD station.

Hmmm. I wonder if something is going on behind the scenes.
For all I know Fox40 here might have been up for a couple of hours.
I'm so used to using DNS Fox I rarely tune to my local.

It was. It was how I knew it had first happened before I checked the local one on Directv.
