Once the season starts, you cann't cancel League Pass. Same goes for Extra Innings, Center Ice, etc.
Gotta ask the obvious here, then why did you order it?ThatOneGuyOverThere said:Are you serious?! That's crazy ... I mean there's no way I can pay for it so I'm screwed.
Never heard of being able to cancel until January 31st before.ThatOneGuyOverThere said:The season started Dec 25th... they let people cancel up until Jan 31st? How does that work if once the season starts you can't cancel?! This is all too fishy.
Like I said seriously go to google & type in directv january 31st nba league pass & the fourth link down ( I believe it's a PDF file or something ) click on it & it has the Terms & Rules for employees only ... ? Plus the customer rep for Dtv told me that too...hilmar2k said:Never heard of being able to cancel until January 31st before.
How does NBA LEAGUE PASS Automatic Renewal work?
Like all our sports subscriptions, NBA LEAGUE PASS automatically renews each season at the lowest full-season price available. You'll see a renewal notice on your bill a few months in advance, and your first installment will be due near the start of the season.
To stay eligible for automatic renewal, just keep your DIRECTV account in good standing and make sure all your receivers are continuously connected to the same land-based phone line. Please note that if you cancel your subscription before the season starts, you won't qualify for the special renewal rate. Also remember that sports subscriptions can't be canceled, refunded, or credited (in part or in whole) after the season starts.

That's news to me but why would they not make that known when someone is ordering... & they did say jan 31st was the last day to cancel this year... I mean I don't understand this. You must not understand it either? If you do, please do shed some much needed light!hilmar2k said:
The only thing I don't understand is you being told you could cancel until January 31st. If you were actually told that, that would be the issue.ThatOneGuyOverThere said:That's news to me but why would they not make that known when someone is ordering... & they did say jan 31st was the last day to cancel this year... Of Course I was!! He put me on hold when I told him I wanted to cancel ( Him being the DirecTv customer rep ) then he came back on the line & just told me he was sorry & that the last day to cancel would have been January 31st.... Plus look at this link ( if I can paste it ) it shows a list of 2012 NBA Rates & Facts.. once you check it out if it means anything to you in any way let me know... ( it's an Adobe google Document I found searching google on rates & Facts...hilmar2k said:The only thing I don't understand is you being told you could cancel until January 31st. This may be it, the PDF does specifically say that auto-renew customers had until the 31st.DogLover said:Since all of their sports subscriptions are not normally cancellable after the season starts, if they had different rules for this season's NBA season, it may have to do with the lockout.
