I don't know what happened but none of the shows scheduled recorded tonight. It said it was recording them but nothing!
Anyone know where I can download ER? I can get survivor and csi from Itunes(yuck) but I can't find ER anywhere.

I am asumming tha tyou are still on the 0xE3 version..
But what does your HISTORY say about the recordings for tonight?

Earl I have 0xEB. I had two missed recordings tonight. This is what I have noticed. My box has had very few problems. I lost 2 recordings last Thursday and 2 this Thursday. Both times I was not in front of the TV. What happened is that I was tuned to a different channel (one that I wasn't scheduled to record). I had 2 other channels set to record at 8:00pm. The message gets displayed that the channel needs to be changed. Since I am not in front of the TV I don't select anything. When it is time the channel automatically changes (as it should). One of the channels records fine. The other gets screwed up. Every time the bad recording is on the channel that the box tunes to live. One time I came back inside and just had a grey screen but the other tuner was recording just fine. I think this has to be the reason why I have had few problems while others have had many. I am usually always watching the TV when it records. The few times I haven't I get missed recordings. I will post this in the 0xEB thread too.

Okay.. You are still on 0xE3 ?

This is one of the cases, which the 0xEB is targetting... shows deleted, without you actually deleting them. So unless you reboot the system, and they re-appear in your MyVod (which has happened in the past). Sadly, there is nothing you can do to get them back now...

Yes I am still running the older code (waiting for new one to stream).
the only show i'm having trouble getting is ER, not the end of the world (but it owuld have been better if it was a show my wife DID NOT watch <grin> )

I'm hoping that will fix mine then, it never even showed it recorded survivor but it did show it recorded CSI it just wouldn't play back.

Try nbc.com Most of their shows are available for free right on their web site. Same goes for CBS and ABC. You don't need Itunes.

People also put episodes on YouTube. My Hr-20 deleted the OC for some reason, so I watched it from there. It was broken into 8 parts, but the whole episode was up there!
