We subscribe to the MLB Extra Innings package. Occasionally, I notice some very odd recordings. The latest occurred the other night.

Friday night/Sat Morning, I had 2 items in my playlist. Red Sox @ Yankees. Both recorded at 12:00am. After the game had ended. When looking at the playlist to see what channel number was recorded they were both Ch 32, one of the DC area PBS stations.

I noticed a few months ago, I had a [email protected] game recorded in the middle of the night. When I went to see what it had actually recorded, the description and the recorded content was part of Storage Wars from A&E.

These odd recording are not being set up by anyone in the house. Any idea what is causing these random, incorrectly titled recordings to appear every now and then??

I get these too. I have no idea what is happening? It usually only happens after I turn off the TV for the night and the last thing I watched was a game on EI.

That's usually the same thing I do. Turn off the game, go to bed...sometimes wake up with the odd recording. At least I'm not alone.

I found two folders with the same recordings the other day. First time I've seen that.

Maybe you should change your receiver channel to a local channel before you turn off the tv and see if it stops doing that, at leas its worth a shot? Since it happens when you leave it on the EI channel.
