Oh my god our customer service sucks

Seriously I know what i needed and it took me 4 calls to DTV to get it done...ended up calling my center and having security transfer me to a team lead i knew to fix the issues....worked there for 3 years have called in twice and both times were [email protected]sfered around....the issues were with outsourced companies cause i always ask where they work for....but anyway.....i will be the first to offer my apologies....have always heard you guys *****ing...and thought you were FOS....reckon not at this point....:mad:

Welcome to our world!

The part that always gets me bunched up, is after I deal with really nice DirecTV people in US, then I get switched over to the India center, on a IP phone connection where I can't understand but every fifth word... and it goes downhill fast from there.

OTOH, as others post before before me, the world of cable isn't dreamy.

If not, they do an outstanding job of faking it!

My last telephone call to DTV took about an hour and spoke to 4 different people:

1) Got a DTV CSR who took my order to upgrade my system from 1 HD DVR and 2 old DirecTivo units to 3 HR24s, and disconnect 2 old SD units,

2) Transferred to verification center where I had a terrible phone connection to someone with a heavy Indian accent who wanted to verify that I was going to extend my contract for 5 units another 2 years and the installation fees were about $400 more than the first person quoted me. Transferred back to,

3) Sales CSR who cancelled the first order, and started an order all over again, at the end transferred to,

4) Another individual with heavy Indian accent and poor telephone connection so I couldn't understand what she was saying until she repeated every question 2 or 3 times.
