When viewing My Recordings in alpha sort, pressing the number keys will jump to the recording that corresponds to the letters of that number key.

I had not seen this posted before; sorry if I'm the last to know.

Nope, I tried it after I read TulsaOK's post.

And the second or third press of a button doesn't advance it like my phone directories do.

I tried it on the EHD when I stumbled upon this. I wasn't really expecting it to work there since that interface works like it was designed by someone who isn't smarter than a 5th grader.
