Hi, all..

Someone i know taped me the Retailer chat ....
in it -they mentioned about Software upgrades:

Open Dish Home upgrade:
301s and 501s will all get it within next few weeks, (End of next month at the latest)....they said - 3900s and 4900s had to be done first, cuz they were selling them as "Open" receivers before 301s and 501s

Locals upgrade (to have locals at lower channels):
Receivers that get it (for now anyhow):
3900, 4900, 301, 501, 508, 721 - and the upgrade(s) should be completed by the End of July....

Would a "3900 Upgraded" get the lower channel upgrade?

yes it would...
But you have to subscribe to locals to get them...
