I am eligible for a receiver upgrade from my HR20-100 but I don't want to take the chance of receiving a HR22 or HR23, only the HR24 Is it possible to order from a third party and get the upgrade credit applied to my account? Who would I have to speak to about his at directv. Thanks for the help!

The only way to know is to call and ask. I've seen others post and say it has worked for them and others say it hasn't.
