OTA While recording on SAT

I was under the impression that I could watch OTA Chanel while I was recording on the 2 SAT channels. I tried to do this last night it would not work, am I wrong or was I doing something wrong?


Also I noticed a problem last night, I was watching Boston Legal, it was being recorded as normal, I was watching it live and it locked when I tried to back up abit or pause, I tried to go to the list and watch the recorded version and just fast forward to where I was, but that would not work either.
Anyone else have this problem?

Nope.

The Manual is incorrect.

Total of TWO tuners can be used at once.
So if you are recording on the two SAT tuners...that is it.

If your goal is to be able to watch OTA while still recording two different things on the HR20, you can split your OTA antenna between the HR20 and your HDTV (if it has a tuner), and then use your HDTV's internal tuner to watch, while your HR20 is recording away two other sources.
