Can someone tell me why E* offers HGTV, Food Network, NFL Network, and Nat. Geo. in HD but not D*? Does E* have an exclusive for a certain time?

I beg to differ:
  • DirecTV 10 won't be launching until April or May of 2007
  • It takes some time, once launched, to get everything going
  • Someone at DirecTV said that they weren't going to add CONUS content until both DirecTV 10 and DirecTV 11 were both operational
