It comes down to the fact that D* doesn't have the bandwith to add any addl HD channels until it gets more satellites up and converts more people to MPEG-4. Any new HD national channels would be broadcast in MPEG-4 along with the new local markets they are addiing.
Other HD Channels
Can someone tell me why E* offers HGTV, Food Network, NFL Network, and Nat. Geo. in HD but not D*? Does E* have an exclusive for a certain time?
