The Outdoor Channel announced the results of its first ratings survey from Nielsen Media Research. The network, which now reaches nearly 15 million cable/DBS households, earned a rating of ".5" in the male 25-54 demographic for its signature programming block, "Tuesday Night Pursuits." The block as a whole delivered an average of 56,000 households, according to the April Nielsen report. Other notable numbers from the recent report include a .2 average and 26,000 delivered households in prime time (Monday through Sunday 8-11 p.m.) and .3 on Sunday mornings with 37,000 delivered households (Sunday 6-11 a.m.).
