My P121R1-03 Power Inserter will not keep a steady green light. I am getting 771A errors and no signal.

That is what I figured. I have tried plugging it into different outlets. The installer took 8 hours to install the Direct system. He was having problems from the start with the PI. Before he left I got the first 771A error code. The system worked for for about 36 hours and then the signal was gone.RobertE said:Light blinking or just off?
If on, then off and stays off, then most likely the PI is dead. If blinking then there is a short somewhere between the PI and the LNB.
