There are many perks to players after they win the Stanley Cup...but for one player....he will get to have his dream come true this weekend. Over the 4th of July weekend, the U S Navy Blue Angles are in Traverse City, and guess who gets to going flying with them? Hint.....he was the 2nd guy to carry the cup after this years win

I wasn't home to watch the end of the finals, but, I've got a guess.

Typically, when there's a player whose been in the NHL along time without winning the cup (especially a big name player, a la Ray Bourque), the captain hands the cup off to that player second.

I'm gonna guess Dallas Drake, just given his long history in the NHL without hoisting Lord Stanley's cup.

Plus, I've had 'hockey on the brain' today. Doug Wilson has been a busy boy for the Sharks today. I'm not sure yet if that's a good thing or not! :lol:
