I just got dish and this is a cool feature. I have looked around but haven't seen anything. Is it possible to play a slideshow and have a sirius station on at the same time? This would be great to have for a party.

No it is not possible to do this. You can slide show, but cannot put a stations audio to it. Interesting Idea..

Personally I would like to see better quality output and more of my 16x9 TV used when using this feature.

Thanks for the welcome. I was kind of surprised that a 1920 x 1200 widescreen wallpaper didn't fill up the screen. On a 50" Samsung DLP

If only you could play music on a slide show... maybe in the future.
