If this is off topic and needs to be deleted or moved, I understand as it's not directly related to satellite, but I feel like many of the folks here might have an opinion. Does anyone have strongs feelings pro or con for any of the following three online retailers of plasma tvs...I'm finally ready to order (and my HR10-250 is on the way!)
Abes of Maine
Plasma Bay
Price Mad

Thanks.

Actually, check out some threads on the subject right here at DBSTalk.com. Go to
the Broadcast/HDTV Forum to see a list of "Top 10 HDTVs", and in other threads,
read about the worst HD sets, and how the competition is heating up between Plasma
and LCD flat panels TVs.

Also, there is a link that will actually let you visualize a wide-screen Panasonic plasma
HDTV on your very own wall. Show that to the wife! :p

My advice: be very wary of some of those on-line dealers. At the very least, on-line
returns can be a serious hassle! I got a great sale price when I ordered my 2nd HDTV
from CC on-line, then picked it up at the local CC 30 minutes later. Don't let price alone
be the deciding factor of where you buy.

I considered Abes Of Maine for my 50" Plasma based off of a good experience with them a few years ago. However, I ended up buying from PowersellerNYC as they had roughly the same Seller Rating on pricegrabber.com at a savings of $150.

They're all about the same in my opinion. Pushy, short-tempered sales people trying to sell expensive expedited shipping, extended warranties, etc. In a attempt to avoid dealing with their sales people, I placed my order online. Go figure, they sent me an e-mail the following day saying I needed to call back to "confirm" my order, where they immediately tried to push expedited shipping and HDMI cables I didn't need. . . imagine that.

I bought my 42 inch HD Plasma from Plasma Concepts.
I ended up buying two days ago from lcdtvs.com. They had the best price, the guy I spoke with seemed honest, didn't try to upsell me anything at all and was friendly. They are also the only company I could find (among these types of deeply discounted prices) who gave me 24 hours to return the set even after I signed for the delivery.
Assuming the tv arrives and all is well I won't post again, otherwise I'll update this when it gets here!
