I'm getting a Plasma TV in a couple of days and want to ask what cables to use for the best connection. I am not upgrading to HD yet and will continue to use the 625 and SD. Is S video the best for my connections?

CC has SD and HD diagrams Via Monster cable (Not endorsing Monster Just like the Diagrams!)

Yes, if the receiver does not have Component or HDMI.

The 625 does not have component or HDMI, s-video will give you best picture from the receiver. Not the best picture available from the TV. You may want to check about hooking ota antennia to the plasma if it has a digital tuner.
