Platinum and Platinum Plus will not work as UHF PRO remotes for 625 722

Just wanted to verify this....
I have 1 platinum Plus remote from a 721 and about 5 other plain platinum remotes that I was using with a 508 receiver.

It appears that these remotes will control our 625 using IR control but NOT UHF.
My understanding from a little research shows that the Platinum/Platinum Plus are "UHF" remotes and the 625 722 receivers need "UHF PRO" remotes.

As a side note, the UHF PRO remotes I understand can be programmed to act as "UHF" remotes to control older equipment.

UHF and UHF PRO remotes are separate remotes. They are not interchangeable, some of the latest universal replacement remotes from DISH can be used for either UHF or UHF PRO but that does not include all UHF PRO remotes. The IR codes have remained the same so any DISH IR remotes are interchangable except the 7100/7200 dishplayers.
Dish remotes version 6.3, will work with UHF Pro, Lagacy UHF, as well as IR. They come with a bag of keys which can be used to adapt them to various receivers. There is an instruction booklet which shows how to set them up. I do not know of any Dish receiver that will not work with these remotes. I got mine from Dish Depot.
