Also the locals here in Chicago...
They pre-fill the image on the MPEG-4 HD broadcasts.
They take the 4:3 SD broadcast, and fill it to 16:9 with the black bars
So the HR20 doesn't no any better, and just sees it as a full 16:9
The way around that would be to use the SD version of the channel, and use the stretch mode tstarn was referring too.
Also... After the first 200-300 hours on your plasma... you will be pretty safe.
What you will see 99% of the time after that is Image RENTENTION... all the same symptoms as Burn-In... but without the permanent damage.
If you get some RETENTION of the image on your plasma, flip to a HD broadcast for about 5-10 minutes and it should go away.
