Why unhook the DirecTivo? Keep both going until you trust the HR20 fully and/or the bugs are worked out. In the meantime you get 4 tuners and can make sure critical programs are recorded on the Tivo just in case.

I don't get why people keep deactivating their only other DVR.

My wife can't stand a show that's not in HD. When watching Sunday Ticket and if it's a game not in HD she immediately complains it's not in HD.

But as with joejhawk she is nuts about hockey and loves her football too as well as gets into all my "gadgets" and anything Sci Fi. Gotta be the reason I married her. :icon_da:

Yep, local OTA problems aren't going to be solved by broadcasting on the sats. Unfortunately DirecTV, Dish, cable and the receiver you have take the blame for those that don't understand that OTA HD/digital is full of problems in many markets.
