Popup when recording

When recording a show from the guide, is there a way to shut off the little pop up that comes up?

Yes, Press menu-->Parental, Fav's & Setup-->System Setup-->Display-->turn recording tips off.

Thanks. I must be getting really old. I looked all over for this yesterday and even looked over it just now until I took a second look.
