Port Forwarding

Router got restarted, and before it will even let me go into Port Forwarding, it wants a couple things.

Enter IP Address I ran command and ipconfig but it came back with a few different ip addresses. Which one do I want?

Hostname I take it this is anything I want to call it, or must it be something specific?

MAC Address Is this the MAC address on my cable modem, or my router? Neither seem to work though.

Backup and explain in more detail what it is you're trying to accomplish and the type of modem and router you're working with.
If you have a cable or DSL modem, you may need to configure that to pass the traffic as well.
I'm trying to enable port forwarding (Directv Cutting Edge related, so I can't really say here).
The modem is a Scientific Atlanta DPC2100R2 and the router is a Motorola Vt24442. I've enabled port forwarding before, but now it wants this other stuff.
My experience with port forwarding is that you log onto router administration and specify a port or range of ports to be forwarded to a specific device on the network. My router lists device names but I guess if you have assigned a static IP address to your device, the IP address for that device might be an option.
