Powerline Adapters/Internet Connection Kit

530 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  kw2957
Hey guys,

My house is about 75 years old and I am planning on using a couple of powerline adapters in the near future to network my HR21. Will the age of the wiring prevent me or have a major effect on the network signal transmitted from the router to the HR21 and back? Would a classic hardwired connection be better for me in this case? Appliances work normal when plugged into outlets, so signal issues for these items aren't a problem.

Thanks. ;)

Should work fine. Of course, if you can run a wired ethernet cable, that's always the most reliable way to go.
Thanks litzdog!
