I would guess it means the PPV is not available via DoD, only live viewing or recording to DVR.islesfan said:

Anybody know what this means? I have seen it in the program descriptions of several PPV movies lately, and it doesn't seem to mean anything. I mean, it is like saying "Movies available for day and/or night viewing only."

I believe this means you can't record the PPV on your DVR without purchasing it. Some PPVs you can record, then purchase at a latter date...kind of a poor man's on demand.
