I would like a few opinions on picture quality comparsions. I currently have 3 r15s and my picture looks nice. But a work (a hr10-250, the hd tivo) the picture looks bad on standard channels and even sometimes on hd. When you walk up close to the tv it looks bad. And I know D* has some compression problems but is it really thaat bad.

My friend just got the cox hd dvr, after I told him a million times that it costs more and not worth your money. And on his motorold hddvr his hd picture looks good. I did not notice any thing bad about the basic channels either, except for a litle bit of pixlelating.

But with imput from this forum is cox (hr) picture better than directv in the 757 area?
