I currently having problems on my vip 722 on a certain off air channel my strength is going from 80 and then drops to 60 in between. The transmitter is about 50 miles away. Do you thing a channel master outdoor amp will help the situation. I bought a Model 3041 Spartan, but I can always return it since I bought at Fry's. Any input I will appreciated.

I have the CM 7777 and it works great. I use it to pull in a VFH HI channels that is a little weak from about 70 miles away. It did the the trick for me.

Another cool thing about the CM 7777 is that you can turn off the UHF side if it is overloading the signal or the VHF side.

If it were me I would install what I had already purchased and see if it worked if not, take it back.

I have the 3041 installed with a CM 4228 and it works great on both UHF and upper VHF.

It works great. I am going to keep it. In my area I couldn't get CBS since it's only broadcast in VHF 7 on now with the pre-amp it works great. Now I can watch the football games in HD and also I got a chance to watch elite XC in HD over the weekend on CBS.

Radio Shack has real good one. 30bd gain for $59.99. I have it on my house and it works great.
