I currently have an old total chice plus package, DVR Service, DNS - grandfathered, HD Access, HBO, and Sports Pack. I am looking to change over to the Premier package. So that I can compare costs, what of the above is included in the Premier package?

I think it is only Total choice plus, HBO and Sports Pack. Is DVR Service, DNS, or HD access included with the Premier package. Thanks

I would also add, that the channel listings (on the DirecTV pdf itself) for the Premier Pkg are incorrect; several HD channels listed actually don't exist (i.e., they do exist, but DirecTV doesn't carry them as of yet!), so a word to the wise. There are probably more mistakes, but those kinda jump out at you.

I had Premier and now have Total Choice Plus DVR (or whatever it is called) and have never been charged for my HD DNS with either package.

Be aware that there is at least a 50/50 chance that you will lose any grandfathered service you may have when you change packages.

I lost DNS when I upgraded to HD and they had to shut my service on and off to get it going.

Then this week I lost my grandfathered free DVR service with Premiere when I called to receive a free NFL Superfan offer and a mistake was made.

Neither issue was ever able to be corrected. I did get some service credites, but when they expire, my monthly fee will be higher and I hate not having my DNS.
