Getting an early start on November's information thanks to early news from Starz. I'll format it better later and add more info when time allows. :)

Note that I'll update this thread as information becomes available. If you find the information useful, you may wish to subscribe to this thread so you'll receive e-mails as information is added :)

Another /salute to Starz!'s press office for distributing their information early. Much appreciated! (sad faces and boos towards Showtime and HBO for not getting their information out earlier!)

All Premiere's on Saturdays, unless otherwise noted.
All times east unless otherwise noted.

Note please that I haven't confirmed that the programs I have listed are actually premiering for the first time on these channels. These programs may have been shown on other channels, or on other nites before the dates shown. The information below is just a look at the list of movies and major programs that are upcoming and seem to be showing for the 'first time' (on the network that is shown) on the dates noted.

Thread update: HBO/MAX and Sho/TMC information for November should be online now, but I've not had a chance to check it out yet and get it posted. I'll try to get it done over the weekend and update accordingly. Thanks for your patience in the interim. :)

It looks to be a thin month for Showtime and The Movie Channel, at least on Saturday nights (I haven't gone through all nights of the schedule yet).

The HBO/Max Saturday night information is updated above. I did poke through the schedule for Max and though the downloable guide for HBO for October touts the titles I've listed as coming in November, the November guide didn't show there where I expected to see 'em, hence they aren't included above. I'm not sure if it's an error by HBO's guide folks or what. Hopefully it'll be confirmed later.

It really looks to be a slow month for Showtime. If they have more good news to tout, it would sure be nice if their publicity department would do a better job of telling us all about it. As is, well, you see it above and it looks really thin.

Pablo may have better luck later searching out other premieres (and I hope everyone appreciates the efforts Pablo makes in helping to fill in the blanks here too!).

bdowell, thanks for the kudos, first of all. Do you know when The Ruins will be shown? You have it listed for Cinemax this month, but I can't find it on their site.
I got the info on The Ruins (and the other program listed for Cinemax below the heading for that channel) from the HBO downloadable guide for October. If you check the last page of same it always lists their featured programs for the following month. They list The Ruins as one of the programs featured in November, but like you, when I looked through the online guide for all of November I couldn't find it anywhere. I don't know if it was a mis-print in the downloadable guide or if they just don't have the online guide for November updated properly yet.

As usual, it seems that both HBO (and sister Cinemax) and Showtime just don't care about making sure their guide data and premiere's information is handy for their customers. Both make my sick with how they show utter disdain for anyone that might want to help spread the word about programs they have coming up :nono:

True, but at least they don't have that glaring bug that comes up every 15 minutes. It's like having someone shine a flashlight in your face while you're watching a movie. Anyone have contact information for Starz?

So I finally see where The Ruins and American Gangster were supposed to be: Cinemax in December.

Apparently someone jumped the gun a bit on that guide info back in the October guide (which, uh, seems to tell me that HBO/Max have their guide data together much earlier than they bother to tell us poor customers about).

Anyway, I'll touch up the guide information for Max if anything looks interesting in the downloadable sched for November.

I would expect a cancellation of that EliteXTC show seeing as they went bust a few weeks ago.

Next Wednesday, Nov 19, those of us who have HDNetMovies will have the opportunity before the U.S. theater release to see Special which made the festival circuit a couple of years ago. Most avid TV viewers know the movie's star, Michael Rapaport, from Boston Public and The War at Home or from this season's Prison Break. Most reviews online are just summaries. However, there is a complete review here.
