I'm just curious as to whether there are currently any 3D movies available through HBO, Cinemax, Starz, Showtime, TMC, or Encore through their on demand services on Directv? We are looking at new TV's and I'm seriously thinking of getting a 3D one if the price is right and wondering how much 3D programming other than ESPN 3D there is available other than pay per view movies.

No. The channel n3D has some good stuff, though.

Yea, I wish they'd add the DoD 3D programming for the premium movie channels, maybe one day. Also besides n3D 3NET also has some good 3D programming on it.

Fios has many 3d movies available on demand.. They also don't have the impressive 24/7threedee channel selection of D* to counter that..

Just wanted to say I bought a 3D TV last night that was on sale from Best Buy. Came home, hooked it up, and after figuring out how to make the 3D picture work (in other words, I read the instructions and saw there's a button on the remote you have to push) the 3D picture on Directv is really good. Glad I got a product for once which is near it's infancy and can watch it grow.
