Yeah, but HD movies are still cropped to 16:9 the way they are on HBO.
Where do you read that?"sulu600" said:So, they finally admit that they are NOT going to support BBMP on the Vip922. I want my money back.
It is interesting the 922 was not included in the press release(post#1).BobaBird said:Look to post #1 to see where we're not reading otherwise, and with all the work getting Hopper ready (it looks really close), don't be surprised to not see [email protected] when S116 is released. That said, "NOT" is actually "not yet." It's coming.
Not really, the vip922 currently has no BBMP software. Supposedly software 116 is coming......but this may fall into the category of "one of the three great lies".Jhon69 said:It is interesting the 922 was not included in the press release(post#1).:eek2:
I see that it's not even mentioned as an upcoming device in the press release. What more needs to be said?Stewart Vernon said:Where do you read that?
Like anything, not every package is for everyone. Just the sat channels alone are worth $10 to me, I watch many of them often. Getting free Blu Ray rental movies by mail is a great extra. I happen not to use the streaming much, but it's there as yet another extra, though the UI is not good. The Direct TV installer who lives next to where I work said he has had interest from Direct customers as to if Direct has this package.356B said:For full disclosure I could care less about BBMP, I pay Dish enough already.
I was just wondering how much more you could care less?356B said:...

I was replying to a post that claimed Dish had "confirmed" no support was ever coming."MCHuf" said:I see that it's not even mentioned as an upcoming device in the press release. What more needs to be said?
I have enough programing to watch without renting more, is that clear enough?Slamminc11 said:I was just wondering how much more you could care less?
and last I looked, no one is forced to get the blockbuster movie pass so I guess Dish took care of that whole, "you pay them enough already thing..."
yes, at no additional costn-spring said:Stupid question ... does DVD by mail include Blu-ray discs?
Thank you. I'm seriously considering moving from DirecTV to Dish and dumping NetFlix. I know that DirecTV isn't going to cut any deals with current subscribers in upgrading to HR34/RVU. Now that Dish has announced Hopper/Joey, it appears that I can get a better deal through Dish, whenever it becomes available.Slamminc11 said:yes, at no additional cost
I think he was just poking fun at "I could care less" instead of "I could NOT care less".356B said:I have enough programing to watch without renting more, is that clear enough?
And what are you poking fun at.....?Orion9 said:I think he was just poking fun at "I could care less" instead of "I could NOT care less".
Thank you for pointing out my poor grammar, were I come from that's how folks talk...Orion9 said:I was just trying to explain his question: How much less could you care?
