problem watching delayed

i have a 722 and lately i can't watch a show delayed - it'll just jump ahead to live tv on its own- this occurs on both a delayed show (not being recorded) and ones that i'm recording, but the show has not completed recording yet. with both scenarios it will not stay delayed (i don't mean paused, i mean watching it delayed) but suddenly jumps to live -- it's driving me nuts!! any ideas?

What is your firmware revision? Have you tried a power cord reset? I had a similar problem a while back but it seems to have cleared up. I don't know if it was after the L6.14 or not. In any event, others have had similar problems.
i did do a power cord reset to no avail. how do you check the firmware? i just went thru all the menus and couldn't find it.

Press the Menu button twice
I have been experiencing the same problem for past couple of weeks. I have had my 722 for about 14 months and no issues until recently. Just last night I paused the MLB playoff game, hit play and it immediately went to "live". very frustratins as it was paused fro about 50 minutes. How do you update the firmware to fix? I ahve tried both soft and hard reboots. Thanks
