This is completely untrue .. You may have gotten $20/mo credit but there were no capacity issues as you have stated.directvsocks said:directv has had capacity issues in weeks one and two telling subscribers attempting to view content that too many users are connected and to try again later.
I got $20/mo credit for six months due to their fraudulent action of selling subscriptions to content that they could not stream.
it sounds like your problem is with vista
Agreed...that whole story you were responding to is totally unfounded on any any facts.Doug Brott said:This is completely untrue .. You may have gotten $20/mo credit but there were no capacity issues as you have stated.
I doubt vista has anything to do with it. Im sure other people here have it running on vista. Besides uninstalling and reinstalling i dont know what else to try?directvsocks said:directv has had capacity issues in weeks one and two telling subscribers attempting to view content that too many users are connected and to try again later.

Well maybe vista does have something to do with it. I installed supercast on my xp desktop with no issues. Still getting the config error on my vista laptop. Doesnt look to promising to get this up and running on my vista machine:nono:njfoses said:I doubt vista has anything to do with it. Im sure other people here have it running on vista. Thanks for the suggestion but i have uac off. I tried anyways but it didnt help.VegasDen said:The only thing I can think of in your case is the UAC is stopping it. Try right-clicking on the program icon and then click "run as administrator."
