Hallmark is still there. It's now actually in free preview mode for a couple of weeks.

pastorgadget,

Are you sure you can still see the 110° satellite? Check channel 9900. If you can't see that channel you have a problem.

Go go to the point dish screen and see if you can get any signal on the 110° location.

Maybe go to the Menu / System Setup / Installation .. etc - and on Signal screen there check your Signal for tp 11 at 110..

If it's too weak - maybe that's your answer
.. Not sure though.. just suggesting...

Oh maybe also . .try unplugging the receiver from the wall and plug it back after ..and let it all "restart"

Or .. pull the card out maybe (that is if your receiver has a card to start with) - and push it back in.. - that will "restart" the receiver also..
And see if that helps..

Or even go to Instal / Signal menu..and run a switch check.. and see if it is good or fails...

If it's good.. then get out from there.. and it should download all the channels also..

Also see if on Your guide it says "ALL Channels" or "Subscribed"
If it says "Subscribed" - try changing it to "ALL channels" maybe (by pressing Guide button again on remote control) - and see if that helps :)

And expecially for Tp 11 at 110° (where Hallmark is located)

if you're missing 110 that's one thing, but if you're looking for the hallmark channel its channel 185 satellite 110 transponder 11 or you might try channel 896 for kicks and giggles (sometimes we move channels around.)

896 is strictly for Dish Latino Max subscribers otherwise the channel is unavailable even if you do have signal!

But as the previous poster recommends, make sure that the "no signal" you are getting is from transponder 11.

There are a few things that could cause loss of signal on one satellite and not the other:
1) Receiver lost its minds and needs a reset and a check switch. Press and hold the power button ON THE RECEIVER until the unit begins a reboot. When the unit comes back up try the channel again. If you get nothing on that channel, try a switch check.

2) physical blockage. Something is in between you and the satellite. Trees, bushes, leaves, structures or whatever. Make sure there is nothing in the way. Remember the signal comes from 22° above where the dish appears to point.

3) Cable, switch or LNB is acting up. It is most commonly a bad connection or connectior for the cable from the LNB to the switch.

I physically checked the dish, and all the connections, everything looked fine. I went through check switch again and a reset, probably the 12th time I have done that, and bing, 110 was there. What happened and why I do not know, sattelite gremlins I guess.

Thanks all for your help, you saved me $49, the tech from dish called 2 minutes after I got 110 back to varify time he needed to come, I told him to wait and I would save my money.
