I have a dish 1000 hooked up at 110,119 and 129 but before this was installed i just had the dish 1000 at 119,110 and a dish 500 at 61.5. The tech said they could not hook up the 61.5 as well as all 3 from the dish1000. He did not know if it was possible but said he had not heard of anything.

I watch sky angel over 61.5 and have locals in HD over 129. So its either or right now and am hoping there is a work around. anyone know of anything or any ideas i can try or what equipment i would need and if Dish would provide this?

there is no reason why you cannot see 110, 119, 129, and 61.5 -- you would just need a DPP44 switch. the switch is expensive so Dish Network may not want to give it to you. but what you want is definitely possible.

I have that exact setup and it works fine. The key is you need a DPP44 switch.

If you have 129 and 61.5 both going into the receiver, what sat does it choose when tuned into a HD channel that is on both?

I've read posts here and elsewhere that say it defaults to 129 when you are seeing both 61.5 and 129. Seems like it would be better if the reverse were true.
