Problems with my HR24-200

I have 3 of these and i was wondering if all of you have the same problems as i do.

1. While fast forwarding or rewind, sometimes I cant get it to stop.

2. Almost all the time, I have to push any remote button twice for a response.

3. When I pick a recorded show to watch, it takes for ever to start up.

4. When I erase a show it sometimes takes a while to finish.

5. When I fast forward, the picture freezes, and the show continues to fast forward.

My library has very few recorded items in it,which means I have not bogged down the hard drive.What can I do to speed this thing up?

Hope someone can help.

Have you tried rebooting the receivers? If not use a menu restart rather than a RBR.
Yes i have tried both restarts.
Do you get any errors reported when you run a system test?

Does the power light on the receiver blink each time you press a button on the remote ?
If you are using the remote in IR mode, some of this could be caused by IR interference.
If the power light does not blink with each press of a remote button, use the TV remote and turn the TV off. Now try pressing the buttons on the remote and see if the light blinks.
And are you using a supported WHDVR system with internal DECA or your own connection system?

Are these problems on all the units or just one? If it's just one it's porbibly(sp) repairable if it's all of them than it's an enviromental, installtion or software issue. The problems you have described can be caused by;

slow channel change slow play back, messed up pause/rewind/ff behavure->low signal strength, receiver running hot, bad network connection(if WHDVR issue)

remote commands being missed->IF/RF interferance.

General slowness of the unit->Ventaltion is poor for some reason.

Lots of things could be causing the bugs. Lets get to the bottom of this and get ya working at full speed. :D
