I've noticed if you program the DVR through the website, there is a 50/50 chance that it will set your DVR to record of it doesn't.

For example, I wanted to record the debates on Monday night, but I wasn't home to set the DVR. So, I log into my account on a computer and set to record the debate, so I thought. I got the email confirmation, but when I got home that night, it wasn't recording.

Another example, I did a series recording of Undercover Boss that airs next week through the site. I check the DVR and it shows that it will record that series.

It seems like recording series is more reliable than recording individual shows on the site.

Has anyone else had this problem on the HR34?

It's a known issue that remotely scheduled recordings won't work if Genie Recommends is turned on. Turn that off and they'll work.
