We all remember what happened to poor AMC-14, as the upper breeze m stage of a Proton rocket failed, miserably, far out of geo transfer orbit.

August 18th, 2008 6:16et marks Protons return to flight.

Here you can watch online

More info: http://www.ilslaunch.com/

You may want to keep an eye on this, because later this year, proton will be lifting nimiq4(Sept) and ciel2(Nov) into the sky.

guess i'm the only one that cared :)

"We have had a successful mission with the Proton M Breeze M
rocket, carrying the Inmarsat-4 F3 satellite built by EADS
Astrium for Inmarsat. We have had confirmation that the
satellite separated from the vehicle on schedule at 3:46 am
Eastern time, or 7:46 GMT, 9 hours and 3 minutes after
liftoff. "

The breeze M worked fine, go nimiq4 and then ciel2!

Don't worry ... everyone will be interested when a DBS satellite is loaded up. :D
