Despite the whole Viacom, thing I am scheduled to get my set up installed on Mon.

HMC, HD-DVR AND AN HD receiver.

I hope I don't get too old/refurbished equipment.

Will they hook me up for OTA channels as well or do I need to ask?

I just have a feeling that my installer is going to try to do a rush job and not want to run the lines under the house and try to punch through my walls.

OTA is not included. You need an additional item, the AM21 tuner, for OTA. (Locals are included via the satellite, but not OTA).
New installs normally don't get refurb, but could. You get what is on the truck.
Free installation is the quickest, easiest, way to get coax to the receiver. That normally is an outside wrap with a hole into the applicable room. Wall fishing is definitely extra cost if they will do it at all.

Thanks for the info Carl6.

Viacom is back!

I checked out the AM21 at Solid Signal, $50. No too bad.

I tried to Google a list of local stations that are available OTA and not via D* in San Diego couldn't get one.

Does anyone know what local stations (if any) are not available in SD without an OTA antenna?
