PVR501: EchoStar, Please Update The Timer Screen!
It has taken a while, but with all of the software updates, the 501 has really turned out to be a nice receiver. However, there is one current feature that needs work...the Timer screen. Before adding any more new features, please consider updating the Timer screen!
The way that the Timer screen is implemented now is not very useful. As a minimum, please sort the entries by time (instead of random as they are now), and please make the Info button work when a timer is highlighted. If you can implement these two changes, the 501 would be a much better product.
Of course, it would be better to allow us to sort the list by name, time, channel etc. and it would be better if more information could be displayed in the timer screen (such as the program name). But just implementing the two changes that I described in the previous paragraph would help a great deal.

Agreed - and I would much prefer to see the timer screen linked to the guide so you could see what the program name is being recorded rather than the date and time being recorded.
