Only two recordings can be made at the same time, no matter what source. I've seen this on several posts, probably stickies. You can only have 2 SAT, 2 OTA, 1 SAT and 1 OTA at the same time. That's it.
Question about 0x10b and OTA and tuners
So I thought we were supposed to be able to record 2 ota channels and 2 sat channels at the same time. Am I wrong about this? I have two sat lines in and one atsc antenna line diplexed in but I can only record two channels. When I try to record on an ota channel and a sat channel then try to change channels to a third it says I need to stop one of the recordings. Maybe I misunderstood something or maybe I need to do something to set this up or maybe I need a direct line in from antenna rather then a diplexor.
