Hi. I haven't received the 0x1109 update. Is there a way to force an update?

Mine still says 0x1108. I do not have the phone line connected.

I have the D12-500, if that helps.

Do you have a D12-100, -300, or -500?

0x1109 is for the -300 only. 0x1108 is for the -100 and -500.

I tried that, twice. at the "Please wait...just a moment..." screen. didn't work. The blue screen, that is. then it goes to "Acquiring satellite..."

What do you mean by "hello screen"?

The screen prior to the ' please wait' . It says Hello, your directv receiver ..'

I have the 500. Does anyone know of when the 100/500 will get the 1109 update?

Does the 1108 update for the 100/500 already have the bugfixes/very minor enhancements of 1109?

All IRDs do. Just sometimes depending on it is hooked up to a TV you won't see it since the TV is 'waiting' for a signal. If you hook it up with coax on chnl 3 you will see it.
